1. Overview
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions purchased through the HomeDoc application operated by Alogeriatric.
HomeDoc by Alogeriatric does not offer refunds under any circumstances. All subscription fees, once paid, are final and non-refundable. This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation or non-use of the Service.
Cancellation of a subscription is permitted at any time. However, cancellation does not entitle you to any refund of fees already paid.
Please read this policy carefully before subscribing. By completing a subscription payment, you acknowledge and accept this No-Refund Policy in its entirety.
2. How to Cancel
You may cancel your HomeDoc subscription through any of the following methods:
2.1 Via the HomeDoc App
Open the HomeDoc app → Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm cancellation.
2.2 Via Email
Send an email to support@alogeriatric.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request". Include your registered email address and full name in the email body. Our team will confirm your cancellation request within 48 business hours.
Once a cancellation request is processed, it cannot be reversed. If you wish to re-subscribe, you will need to purchase a new subscription at the current rate.
3. When Cancellation Takes Effect
Cancellation takes effect immediately upon confirmation. Your access to the Service, including all features, appointment scheduling, and health records, is terminated at the moment cancellation is processed.
No refund will be provided for any unused portion of your subscription period. Whether you cancel on the first day or the last day of your plan, the fees paid are final and non-refundable.
Any doctor visits already scheduled at the time of cancellation will also be cancelled. You will need to subscribe again to book new appointments.
4. No Refund Policy
All payments made to Alogeriatric for HomeDoc subscriptions are strictly non-refundable.
This is an unconditional, absolute no-refund policy. There are no exceptions. We do not offer:
- Full refunds upon cancellation
- Pro-rata refunds for unused days or months
- Partial refunds for any reason
- Refunds due to dissatisfaction with the service
- Refunds due to the user's change of mind
- Refunds due to the user's inability to use the Service for any reason
- Refunds due to technical issues (where we will make every effort to resolve the issue or offer service extensions)
- Refunds due to relocation outside of our service area
- Refunds following account deletion or termination
By proceeding with any payment, you expressly waive any claim to a refund. If you have any doubts about the service, we encourage you to contact us at support@alogeriatric.com before subscribing.
5. Specific No-Refund Scenarios
For clarity, the following scenarios do not qualify for a refund:
5.1 Cancelled or Missed Visits
If a scheduled doctor visit is cancelled or missed for any reason — whether by the user or due to unavailability — no refund will be issued. Cancellation of the subscription itself is also immediate and non-refundable.
5.2 Dissatisfaction with Doctor
If you are dissatisfied with your assigned doctor, please contact us at support@alogeriatric.com. We will make reasonable efforts to reassign you to a more suitable doctor. No refund will be provided, but we will work to resolve the concern.
5.3 Technical Issues
In the event of a technical issue preventing use of the Service, we will investigate and work to resolve the problem promptly. Where a visit could not take place due to a technical failure on our part, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a service extension. No monetary refund will be provided.
5.4 Health Improvement or Hospitalisation
If your health condition improves and you no longer require the Service, or if you are hospitalised during your subscription period, no refund will be provided. You may cancel future renewals.
5.5 Termination for Misconduct
If your account is terminated by Alogeriatric due to a violation of our Terms & Conditions, no refund will be issued regardless of the remaining subscription period.
6. Emergency Service Charges
Emergency home visits (24/7) are an on-demand service charged separately from the subscription at rates of ₹3,000–₹4,000 based on distance. These charges are:
- Non-refundable once the doctor has been dispatched.
- Charged directly at the time of booking.
- Not included in or deductible from your subscription fee.
If an emergency visit was booked but the doctor could not reach the patient due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, unsafe conditions), a partial charge may apply at our discretion.
8. Cancellation via Account Deletion
Deleting your HomeDoc account also cancels your active subscription. However:
- Account deletion does not trigger any refund of subscription fees paid.
- Once an account is deleted, it cannot be restored.
- Please review our Privacy & Data Policy to understand how your data is handled upon deletion.
